Sophie Sanders is a soft-spoken songwriter, and sometimes singer-songwriter, who comes by her love for words honestly. She was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up watching her Dad write country music. It wasn’t until her early 20’s that she realized any interest in following suit.
Sanders graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 with a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology. The week after graduation, she found herself picking up a guitar for the first time. The obsession came immediately. The songs came soon after. Sanders served as a Peace Corps volunteer in East Java, Indonesia, from 2012-2013, bringing a little guitar and her burgeoning interest in making music with her. Once she came back home to Music City, she was home to stay.
Sanders now lives with her husband, their baby boy and their chunky cat. She is a full-time mama and a when she can find the time songwriter. She loves books, baking, and being outside with her son. She believes alliteration is the spice of life. Sophie released her first record, “Steep and Shining Spaces,” in November of 2018. Her next project, “Taller,” is set to release July 26, 2024.
Two locally-raised musicians, Adia Clark Lay and Guerin Lewis, make their way back home for a duo show!
Adia Clark Lay is an emerging singer-songwriter and recent graduate from Berklee College of Music, known for her captivating blend of country, rock, and indie sounds. Hailing from Clark, Colorado, Adia has spent several years honing her craft on stage, performing both locally and beyond, and is now Nashville-bound.
Guerin Lewis is a country artist now based out of Nashville, TN. A proud native of Steamboat Springs, CO – Guerin has made a name for himself by intertwining his unique sound and self defining lyrics.
Joey Tenuto is an electrifying international blues-rock guitarist known for his soulful sound, powerful stage presence, and genre-blending style that fuses Southern rock, blues, and psychedelic elements. His original sound and dynamic performances have earned him a growing global fanbase and a reputation as one of the genre’s rising stars.
Throughout his career, Joey has shared the stage with rock and blues legends including members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Doors, DIO, Alice Cooper, and The Grateful Dead. He’s formed close ties with icons from the blues world, such as the Muddy Waters Band, Johnny Winter Band, Guitar Shorty, and his late mentor Joey Gilmore. Influential figures like Bobby Nathan of Unique Recording Studios have also shaped his journey.
Joey’s relentless touring and deep musical roots continue to drive his momentum, as he cements his place among rock and blues royalty.
