Tres Womack and the Getocowboys

Tres Womack and the Getocowboys bring their unique blend of country music to the stage. Tres, originally from Brownwood, Texas, now resides near Austin. A former teacher and coach, he entered the Texas music scene with the 5-song EP “Real Simple” and contributed to a live record with the Getocowboys in 2006. After four years and 200 shows, he’s set to debut his full-length CD “Freak Show” in January 2008, featuring 12 original songs and a host of Texas talent, including members of Brandon Rhyder’s band and Sons of the Desert. Recorded over 14 months in Austin and Nashville, Tres also collaborated with songwriters Josh Droegemueller and Luke Adair on the Getocowboys’ first studio effort, featuring contributions from Austin notables Kimberly Kelly, John Garr, and Malfred Milligan.
