DESCRIPTION:Born on the Corpus Christi Bay with roots in the deserts of West Texas and the Piney Woods of East Texas. Jack Nelson is a music artist to keep an eye on. Growing up the son of ranchers and teachers\, music for the hard working God fearing folk is what pours out of him. \nJack was handed his first guitar at the age of four years old and has been making music ever since. Whether it was playing alongside his father during practices for his tejano band as a child\, leading his church youth group in praise and worship\, or playing music festivals in his in his hard rock band in high school\, Jack has always appreciated all types of genres and his history has made him a very diverse musician. \nJack took a break from his life and music in order to serve our country by joining the United States Navy and after four and a half years decided it was time to return home\, go to college\, and start making music again. \nUpon departing the Navy in 2012\, Jack began playing one man acoustic shows in the local area and as a lone acoustic musician with only amateur recordings Jack was able to spend a considerable amount of time in the top spot of the local reverb country charts. But being compelled to a larger platform Jack has carefully assembled musicians from across the country in an effort to bring his brand of music to the scene.  \nWithin that time frame Jack has been continuing to release new music with a few “number ones” in the Texas music scene all whilst having the honor of sharing the stage with fellow artists such as Lynyrd Skynyrd\, Vanilla Ice\, Lee Greenwood\, Tracy Byrd\, David Ball\, Cody Canada and the Departed\, Wade Bowen\, Creed Fisher\, Sundance Head\, Bart Crow\, Jason Boland and the Stragglers\, Josh Ward\,  Scooter Brown Band\, Bri Bagwell\, Curtis Grimes\, Micky and The Motorcars\, Kyle Park\, David Grace\, Susan Hickman\, Jake Bush\, Larry Joe Taylor\, and many more.

The result is a polished sound that’s both fresh and familiar\, created by a trio of Nashville-based singers\, songwriters\, and instrumentalists who breathe new life into old-school influences.   With the release of their upcoming debut EP\, The Woods showcase not only the writing chops that sent their first single\, “World’s On Fire\,” into the Top 50 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart\, but also the stacked vocals and entwined guitarmonies that have earned the trio comparisons to acts like The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. Produced by Grammy-winning producer Blake Chancey (The Dixie Chicks\, Little Big Town) and recorded in the wake of The Woods’ arena tour with Tim McGraw\, this next chapter of music serves as a reintroduction to one of Nashville’s most promising exports. \nBandmates Dan O’Rourke\, Raquel Cole\, and Leland Rooney all came to Nashville on their own\, looking to make their individual marks on a city steeped in music.  Cole was an award-winning songwriter from British Columbia\, with a pair of Top 50 country singles under her belt and an electric guitar in her hands. O’Rourke was a nomadic folksinger who’d already lived in a half-dozen cities across the country\, earning a first-place finish in the International Songwriting Competition along the way. Rooney was a classically trained guitarist who’d been gigging since his teenage years\, playing country songs on the Texas bar circuit long before he could order his own drinks. Together\, the three musicians found common ground in the music of their parents’ generation.  They began making their own updated version of that sound\, blending their voices together into thick harmonies\, rooting everything in classic songwriting and contemporary storytelling.

DESCRIPTION:THE MATT SKINNER BAND IS A 4-PIECE ALT-COUNTRY ROOTS-ROCK GROUP FROM FORT COLLINS\, COLORADO.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Matt Skinner Band formed in the winter of 2012 and released Native Stranger (2013) shortly thereafter which was recorded at the highly acclaimed Stout Studio in Fort Collins\, CO. The band consists of Matt Skinner on lead vocals and guitars\, Darren Radach on drums and mandolin\, Ben O’Connor on electric and upright bass\, all rounded out by Ansel Foxley on electric and acoustic dobro. Notable sometime-band members include Joe Lessard on fiddle\, Michael O’Connor on lead guitar\, and Amanda Hofer on backup and lead vocals. \nMatt has released three solo albums\, Four Winds (2001)\, The Nighthawk Affair (2007) and Live at StoneCringe: Vol I (2009) on the Tapadero Productions label and one independent rock EP\, Four Day March (2010) with the supergroup\, Eleven Bones. Matt is also featured on Waylon Jennings: The Red River tribute (2004) and Undone: A Tribute to Robert Earl Keen (2009) with many of the best and brightest singer/songwriters on the scene. Additionally\, songs penned by Matt are included in the film\, Secret at Arrow Lake (2009) starring C. Thomas Howell in which Matt and some old band mates also make a cameo. \nSkinner’s lyrics capture the raw human spirit and come to life as the band deftly weaves a colorful tapestry of songs and stories of love and danger with a passion born of living and tempered with an infectious groove.  The detail and imagery of each song is magnified by the intense electricity of the band as Skinner’s powerful\, road-worn tenor voice commands the stage with a presence that is spellbinding in its organic honesty and mercurial resonance. Each performance is a thrilling\, emotional carnival ride filled with love\, laughter\, pain and heartbreak.

Seamlessly fusing the worlds of organic and electronic\, their music is an unbridled expression of desire. Dubbed “Montana’s Hottest Power Disco Duo”\, Desperate Electric brings the baby makers and the booty shakers to the party. Their supercharged sensuality invites the audience to join them in releasing all inhibition\, surrendering to the music\, and letting the seduction of dance take the reins.  \nKayti Korte and Ben Morris met as music majors at Montana State University. An unlikely pairing of a classically trained vocalist and a collegiate rugby player with rock-star instincts. What began as an unexpected connection quickly became a creative partnership and after graduation\, Kayti joined Ben’s then-current band. Once the two began writing together\, it became clear something bigger was taking shape. \nIn February 2018\, they launched their first project\, DASH\, a four-piece band rooted in rock\, soul\, and funk. The group recorded an album and hit the road within months of forming. During a notoriously difficult 2019 tour\, Ben programmed electronic drums on the fly after losing their drummer with little notice. As lineup instability began to challenge the traditional band format\, Kayti and Ben pivoted\, leaning into electronic production in a move that would ultimately redefine their sound.  What began as a necessity became a creative breakthrough\, fusing live instrumentation with electronic drums and synth-driven textures. \nOut of that transformation\, Desperate Electric was born\, named after an EP that captured their evolving identity. The rebrand marked a clean break from the rock band model and the start of a bold new chapter as a pop-forward\, power disco duo. \nSince then\, Desperate Electric has built a reputation as a high-energy live act.
