SUMMARY:Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts
DESCRIPTION:Pronounces name “RY-en KRIS” (like Ryan Chris\, but spelled with a y instead of i) \nAt a glance\, Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts are a 4-piece touring band that shares male and female leads in a mix of old school country and rock n roll. Call it western outlaw\, modern outlaw country\, or just plain outlaw. \nRyan Chrys & The Rough Cuts bring forth new energy to music fans who love the heroes and outlaws of old. Influenced by the songs and personalities of legends like Waylon and Willie\, they drive their sound with blazing guitars and a rock n roll attitude.  The band pays respect to classic styles\, but anyone can tell from their overdriven sound that they’re far from traditionalists. Recommended for lovers of both classic country and 70’s rock n roll. \nRecent highlights include direct support for Dwight Yoakam\, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band\, Shooter Jennings\, Blackberry Smoke\, The Bellamy Brothers\, Asleep At The Wheel\, Dale Watson\, Reckless Kelly\, Justin Moore\, Billy Bob Thornton\, Jason Boland & The Stragglers\, Old Crow Medicine Show\, The Marshall Tucker Band\, Shakey Graves\, Cody Canada & The Departed\, The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band\, Sunny Sweeney\, Shane Smith & The Saints\, The Kentucky Headhunters\, Big Kenny\, Love and Theft and more.  For a more detailed bio on the band and members check out the Meet the Band page. \nIn 2025 the band was officially inducted into the Colorado Country Music Hall of Fame! Each member is now a Colorado Country Music Hall of Famer and has performed in (and out) of Colorado for more than 20 years. We are honored to carry such a distinction.

SUMMARY:Velvet Denim
DESCRIPTION:Velvet Denim isn’t just a band; it’s what happens when a massive\, slightly cluttered\, and intensely beloved second-hand store explodes onto a stage. If you could turn a thrift shop into a band\, it would be them—perfectly mismatched collection of quality goods that smell faintly of patchouli and nostalgia. They don’t just play songs; they thrift-flip them\, turning musical hand-me-downs into glittering\, must-have essentials. \nTheir style is rooted in the belief that all great American music—from vintage classic rock and smooth soul to outlaw country and pure pop gold—belongs together on the same clearance rack. We play the dusty bangers you forgot you loved and some shiny new treasures that fit right in. Come wander the worn-out aisles of nostalgia. Sift through the racks and get pulled into off-brand magic that makes Velvet Denim feel like a place you’ve somehow been before and never seen until now.

SUMMARY:MusicFest Wristband Party: Matt Skinner & Tres Womack
DESCRIPTION:This year\, MusicFest is doing a locals only wristband! On sale same day starting at 4pm! \n– \nTHE MATT SKINNER BAND IS A 4-PIECE ALT-COUNTRY ROOTS-ROCK GROUP FROM FORT COLLINS\, COLORADO.\nThe Matt Skinner Band formed in the winter of 2012 and released Native Stranger (2013) shortly thereafter which was recorded at the highly acclaimed Stout Studio in Fort Collins\, CO. The band consists of Matt Skinner on lead vocals and guitars\, Darren Radach on drums and mandolin\, Ben O’Connor on electric and upright bass\, all rounded out by Ansel Foxley on electric and acoustic dobro. Notable sometime-band members include Joe Lessard on fiddle\, Michael O’Connor on lead guitar\, and Amanda Hofer on backup and lead vocals. \nMatt has released three solo albums\, Four Winds (2001)\, The Nighthawk Affair (2007) and Live at StoneCringe: Vol I (2009) on the Tapadero Productions label and one independent rock EP\, Four Day March (2010) with the supergroup\, Eleven Bones. Matt is also featured on Waylon Jennings: The Red River tribute (2004) and Undone: A Tribute to Robert Earl Keen (2009) with many of the best and brightest singer/songwriters on the scene. Additionally\, songs penned by Matt are included in the film\, Secret at Arrow Lake (2009) starring C. Thomas Howell in which Matt and some old band mates also make a cameo. \nSkinner’s lyrics capture the raw human spirit and come to life as the band deftly weaves a colorful tapestry of songs and stories of love and danger with a passion born of living and tempered with an infectious groove. The detail and imagery of each song is magnified by the intense electricity of the band as Skinner’s powerful\, road-worn tenor voice commands the stage with a presence that is spellbinding in its organic honesty and mercurial resonance. Each performance is a thrilling\, emotional carnival ride filled with love\, laughter\, pain and heartbreak. \n– \nTres grew up in Brownwood\, Texas and now lives near Austin. A former teacher and coach\, he joined the Texas music scene four years ago with the 5-song EP “real simple”. In 2006 he contributed to a “limited release” live record as a member of the get-o-cowboys. Since that time\, he’s stayed busy fronting both his own band and the “get-o-cowboys.” Four years and 200 shows later\, he’ll finally debut a full-length CD titled “freak show” (January 2008) featuring 12 unique songs penned by Womack. \nThe new record features a host of “Texas” talent including Keith Davis\, James Hertless\, Mike Henretty\, Ron D’Argenio\, (all former or current members of Brandon Rhyder’s band) Seth Allen (Josh Grider)\, Luke Adair\, Josh Droegemueller\, (get-o-cowboys & Luke and B) Tim Womack\, Rob Stiteler\, Scott Saunders\, and Drew Womack (All former “Sons of the Desert” members). The project was tracked at five different locations in Austin and Nashville over a 14 month span. \nWhile putting the finishing touches on his debut CD\, Tres teamed up with songwriters Josh Droegemueller and Luke Adair (Luke and B) on their first “get-o-cowboys” studio effort. They finished tracking this November with familiar’s Hertless\, Henretty\, and D’Argenio. Austin notables Kimberly Kelly\, John Garr\, and Malfred Milligan lent their talents as well.
